The 22nd Detective Conan movie titled ‘Zero no Shikkounin’ will be released on 13 April 2018 all over Japan through Toho Cinemas.
Just like in the 20th movie, ‘The Darkest Nightmare’, Amuro Tooru from the National Police Agency will be the main character. Following a big bombing case, the story starts with Conan getting into conflict with the police. Conan is pursuing the truth about the bombing case because Kogoro Mori was taken in as one of the suspects. Together with Amuro, who should be on his side, Conan tries to prove Kogoro’s innocence. But what are the true goals of Amuro – be he ally or enemy? On another note, Yuzuru Tachikawa, director of Mob Psycho 100, will be directing his first Detective Conan movie.
Gosho Aoyama has also drawn a teaser visual for the movie. On the poster, we see Conan Edogawa with the rest of the Detective Boys while Amuro is staring at something in the air. Ran Mori is shedding tears for some reason and then there is Hyoue Kuroda, managing officer of the Tokyo Police First Division, and the one who is rumored to be the Black Organization’s Number 2, Rum.
