The first volume of Himitsu’s manga series Tobacco-chan has been released on 20 November 2017.

Tobacco-chan is a new comedy series by Himitsu, who also wrote Peta Girl and Tantou Henshuu Botsuko-san. In this new manga, the cigarrete smoke turns into a beautiful girl called Tabako-chan. The main focus of the story is Asano, an employe who just can’t quit smoking, and Tabako-chan, who is the anthropomorphized smoke of a cigarette and whose clothes start to dissolve the closer you get to finishing your cigarette. She clings to your clothes like the smell of cold smoke. Aside from Tabako-chan, there is also the menthol cigarette character Menko-chan, and the Golden Bat, born in 1906, who are all anthropomorphized cigarettes that have turned into beautiful girls.

At the end of this volume, there is a bonus manga. The manga is being serialized in Akita Shoten’s Young Champion.
