The first chapter of Hideyuki Ishikawa’s new series Yoake Ato no Shizu has been released in Shueisha’s Weekly Jump Vol.9, which when on sale on 1 February 2018.

Yoake Ato no Shizu takes place in Japan during the Meiji period at the time when the authority of the samurai was destroyed. Shizu is the main character, who enrolls at the first all-girls school. She is proudly living as a daughter of a samurai, not knowing much about the common sense of the public and has a slightly shifted sensibility. The manga portrays Shizu attending a completely new girls’ school and being humiliated in various ways throughout her days.

Shinnosuke Kanazawa’s Kunoichi no Ichi! No Ni, the second part of Kunoichi no Ichi‘s second part, will be released in Weekly Young Jump‘s 10th volume on 8 February 2018. Kazuyoshi will help with the story.
