The singers of the opening and ending songs for the second season of TV anime My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) have been announced. The anime begins on March 25, 2017.
The opening will be sung by the proud and charismatic singer Kenshi Yonezu, who is highly popular among young people. The title of the new song is Peace Sign. Yonezu has released many innovative and dramatic songs and has written a new song for the anime to heat up the beginning of each episode!
The ending song is sang by the female group Little Glee Monster. Known as ‘Ritoguri’ for short, they have strong vocals and sing impressive a capella songs. They are most popular among middle and high school students.
‘I am very happy that I can sing the new opening for My Hero Academia. Thank you so much. It was like there was as lot to learn of Izuku and the others, who run towards their dreams. I wonder how I was as a child. I thought about these kind of things a lot when I started making Peace Sign.’
‘Hello! We are Little Glee Monster! We will be singing the ending of the series My Hero Academia. Like the character who won’t lose to anyone, we will be able to liven up the anime with our individual voices!’
The second season of the series will start airing on Saturday March 25, 2017!
