My Hero Academia has announced that it will air its fourth season in October 2019! The news was released together with a key visual by character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi. It shows Deku and third-year student Mirio Togata in their hero costumes and with smiles on their faces.
The fourth season starts with the Internship Arc, where the characters start their Pro Hero Internship. Main character Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriya starts an internship under the guidance of a professional hero. He will also have to face new dangers and undertake a new mission as a hero. New friends, new villains… there will be many new characters we can look forward to!
The anime is based on a manga by Kohei Horikoshi. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2016 and was followed by a second season in 2017 and a third one in 2018. In Summer 2018 the first cinema movie My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was released and was able to draw in fans of all ages, gaining over 16.4 billion yen in box office.
