My Hero Academia the Movie: Two Heroes (Boku no Hero Academia: Futari no Hero), based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, has revealed that the DVD and Blu-ray will be released in Japan on 13 February 2019.
In addition to the regular editions, the ‘plus ultra’ ones are packed with great extras that which will make the fans’ hearts race faster. The main disc includes the movie and special videos such as the TV spots and trailer. Fans will also be excited to hear that the All Might Rising bonus manga which was handed out to cinemas-goers will be getting animated! The new anime will be available on the extra disc of the Plus Ultra edition.

My Hero Academia the Movie: Two Heroes opened on 3 August 2018. Over 1.2 million people went to the cinemas in Japan to watch the movie on big screens and earned a box office revenue of 1.6 billion yen.
The movie takes place on a floating artificial island known as ‘I Island’, covering the original story ‘Kuuhaku no Natsu’ (lit. Blank Summer), a story that happens between the second season’s ‘Kimatsu Shiken-hen’ (lit. Final Exam Arc) and third season’s ‘Rinkan Gasshuku-hen’ (lit. Forest Training Arc).
