My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) will air its fourth season on 12 October 2019. The new key visual shows All Might’s former sidekick Sir Nighteye who will be voiced by Shinichiro Miki. The second trailer for the fourth season has also been released.
My Hero Academia is based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi which is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and has sold over 22 million volumes. The main character of the story is Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriya, who starts an internship under the guidance of a professional hero and has to complete missions whilst facing dangerous threats.
The key visual was drawn by character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi. Miki, who will voice Sir Nighteye, said: ‘I am ready to stand behind the mic so that I won’t betray the fan’s expectations!’
The second trailer features Sir Nighteye, our hero Deku, and many others, like the new villain Overhaul and a mysterious girl. The video ends with the impressive phrase: ‘I will become your hero!’
The series will start airing on 12 October 2019.
