We recently reported on the collaboration between TV anime My Hero Academia and the Japanese national baseball team, most commonly known by their nickname: Samurai Japan! We now have more details on the project ticket and the bonus item that will come with it.
The TV anime My Hero Academia is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s titular manga that is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The story takes place in a world where most people normally possess supernatural powers. The main character, Izuku Midoriya, and his friends are attending the famous hero-training school, U.A High School. The first season aired in Spring 2016 and the second season will begin airing in Spring 2017 (here is some info on seasons and cours in anime.)
The collaboration ticket is for selected seats in the B section on the third base side for the baseball game Samurai Japan Matching Game (vs. CPBL Selection Chinese Taipei) on February 28 and March 1 2017. A special collaboration towel and ticket case will be given as a bonus. Both items have a special illustration in which the characters from My Hero Academia are wearing baseball uniforms.
The tickets went on sale only on Lawson-Ticket at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 14, 2017. The price is 3,500 yen.
