One of the most anticipated movies of the coming summer, Tokyo Ghoul 2 (tentative title), has revealed that Nobuyuki Suzuki will reprise his role as Kotaro Amon.

Masataka Kubota, Shunya Shiraishi, Kai Ogasawara, and Hiyori Sakurada have already been announced to be back for the second movie and many more are to be revealed. Shota Matsuda and Maika Yamamoto are new to this series.

Suzuki has appeared in many popular works such as Half Blue, Anata no Koto wa Sorehodo and Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!. He is to play former first class Ghoul Investigator Kotaro Amon, who has great fighting skills. There was a lot of talk regarding Amon’s appearance in the first live-action movie of Tokyo Ghoul, thanks to his intense fighting scene with Kaneki (Masataka Kubota). As he loses his respected investigator, Kureo Mado, Amon’s strong sense of justice drives him to catch ghouls.

Suzuki revealed that he is happy to be part of the second movie too and that fans should again look forward to a magnificent world that can hold its own against the first movie as well as the globally popular original manga.
