The upcoming live action adaptation of ONE’s popular manga and anime Mob Psycho 100 revealed its main visual that features the main cast.
Shigeo Kageyama (Mob-kun) is going to be played by 17-year-old Tatsuomi Hamada who is currently starring as the latest Ultraman in Ultraman Geed. Kazuki Namioka stars as his master Arataka Reigen, and Yuuki Yoda as his friend Tsubomi Takane.
The series will be directed by Koichi Sakamoto, the legendary director of several Sentai and Kamen Rider series. Screenplays will be provided by Reiko Yoshida and Kei Kunii.
The live action adaptation of Mob Psycho 100 will start streaming on Netflix on 12 January 2018 and air in TV Tokyo in 18 January 2018. The original creator of the manga, ONE, is probably more known for the adventures of Saitama in One-Punch Man (which is getting a second season soon). He commented on the new live action adaptation, ‘I am so happy that Mob Psycho 100 will turn into a live-action drama! I am so excited because I think that it will be very different from the manga or the anime.’
