Winter 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
2018 is almost out, guys and girls, and that means that another anime year is ready to take its place.
The newest animation work of Hayao Miyazaki, the short anime titled Boro the Caterpillar (Kemushi no Boro), will start screening at the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo from 21 March 2018. It is the first animation that Miyazaki has worked on since The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu) in 2013 and is the 10th original short anime that will show exclusively at the museum.
Titular character Boro is a caterpillar born from an egg at the beginning of the day. The first thing it sees is a bright world, a world full of fresh air. It then steps out of its bush and into the world, where friends and enemies await it…
Miyazaki said that he had been preparing for this work that shows the world from an insect’s point of view for many years. At the museum, many pictures were put up to introduce the world of Boro the Caterpillar, which give visitors an in-depth sight into the world through a panorama box,
Boro will start screening from 21 March 2018 in the museum’s theater. A gallery on the second floor will open at the same time.
