The theme song and main visual for the event Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2017 have been revealed!
Magical Mirai is a special annual festival in which the visitors can enjoy the never-ending creative culture of Hatsune Miku. This year’s event will be held from 1-3 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. Each year, the festival includes concert events and exhibitions, with 2017 being the fifth year of the event. On top of this, 2017 is a special year as it is the 10th anniversary of the release of the first Hatsune Miku software.
The theme song for Magical Mirai 2017 will be Suna no Wakusei (Planet of Sand) produced by the famous Vocaloid producer Hachi.
Hachi is the alias used by popular singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu; he uses this name when producing Vocaloid songs. This is the first time in four years that Yonezu will release a song using the name Hachi! You can hear a little bit of the song in the official commercial for Magical Mirai 2017.
The Main Visual is Illustrated by iXima!
The main visual for this event is drawn by iXima, the well-known illustrator of singing-voice synthesizers such as Hatsune Miku V3 and Hatsune Miku V4X. The main visual is a drawing of Hatsune Miku who is wearing a gorgeous dress and happily sings for the spectacular event!
