Spring 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
That was it for the first season of 2019. Many good titles graced our screens, but if we want to be honest, there are too many series in the new season we have been waiting for quite a long time.
The anime adaptation of Makoto Sanda’s Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo (The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II) shared a new promotional video.
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files is based on a mystery novel spinoff series of Type-Moon’s Fate franchise. The anime will adapt the ‘Rail Zeppelin’ story and add original content. Check the trailer below:

Daisuke Hirakawa will play the character Melvin Waynes (you can see the character in the last image above. He is the one with the white hair). He is a mage in the Clock Tower’s Creation Department and an old friend of El-Melloi II. He is the only one who calls him by his old name: Waver Velvet.
The series will premiere in Japan in July 2019. A prequel episode aired during a television special on 31 December 2018.
Waver Velvet participated in the Fourth Holy Grail War together with King of Conquerors Iskandar in Fate/Zero. Over time, the boy became Lord El-Melloi II and became a famous lecturer of the Clock Tower.
