Minami Mizuno’s manga Nijiiro Days (Rainbow Days) will be adapted into a live action movie. The manga is being serialized in Shueisha’s Margaretand has 15 volumes so far. The anime based on the manga aired from January to June 2016. We’ve got hold of the first promotional video, and a shot with the main cast!
Generations from Exile Tribe’s Sano Reo will play Nacchan (Natsuki Hashiba), Taishi Nakagawa will play Mattsun (Tomoya Matsunaga), Mahiro Takasugi is going to be Tsuyopon (Tsuyoshi Naoe), and Ryusei Yokohama will play Kei-chan (Keiichi Katakura)’s role.
The four main characters are the pure and energetic romantic character ‘Nacchan’ (Natsuki Hashiba), the playboy who fools around with girls ‘Mattsun’ (Tomoya Matsunaga), the clever otaku who does everything at his own pace ‘Tsuyopon’ (Tsuyoshi Naoe), and the cheerful but sadistic Kei-chan (Keiichi Katakura). Four high school boys whose characters and hobbies are totally different are good friends who always hang out together. When Nacchan falls deeply in love with their classmate Anna, their daily lives change…
