Winter 2019 Anime: Official Twitter Hashtags & Pages
2018 is almost out, guys and girls, and that means that another anime year is ready to take its place.
The anime movie Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter (Meitantei Conan: Karakurenai no Love Letter) will come out in Japanese cinemas on 15 April 2017 and to get the fans hyped up for the movie, a special clip was released called ‘Love Letter Movie’. Conan and Heiji have a boys’ talk about confessing their love.
Crimson Love Letter is the 21st movie of the Detective Conan anime series. It has been a while, but Conan and Heiji, the ’high school detective of Kansai’, tackle a new case together. At the same time a soft love story with Ran and Kazuha will take place, for which fans started talking about even before the release of the movie.
The short video is part of the ‘Conan Loves Project’ (‘CLP’ for short), which takes place on the official movie homepage and runs under the slogan ‘Conan supports your precious love.’ Previously on Valentine’s day, another Love Letter video with Ran and Kazuha was uploaded, and now we have the boys’ side of the story. Conan and Heiji have a boys’ talk about love confessions, and the strong feelings they have for Ran and Kazuha. The 14th of March is also known as ‘White Day’ in Japan, where boys reciprocate their feelings for girls who gave them chocolate on Valentine’s Day.
If you watch both videos at the same time, you can see that at some points Conan and Ran’s as well as Heiji and Kazuha’s conversations connect to each other. Even though they are at two different places, their conversations are connected and are showing off their sweet love. Try and play the videos at the same time and try to hear where the videos become one!
English Summary: Ran and Kazuha are on their way to the cinema, when it starts to snow. Ran starts to mimic Heiji’s voice saying to herself that she is as beautiful as the snow to which Kazuha replies, ‘he would never say something like that.’ She asks if Shin’ichi would say something like that. Ran gets all shy and Kazuha talks about how Shin’ichi confessed his love to Ran in front of Big Ben in London. Ran just says that the confession didn’t seem like he wanted to do it at that time and brings the topic back to Heiji. Kazuha complains that Heiji always puts his cases first and would suddenly have to leave, to which Ran could only agree, wondering when Shin’ichi will come back. Both sigh, because their boyfriends want to become detectives. They do everything for it. The movie ends with them going to the cinema.
English Summary: Conan notices that snow is falling and Heiji says the autumn sky and the hearts of girls are similar. Conan notes that it’s not autumn. But they both agree that they don’t understand girls. Conan also points out that he at least confessed his feelings to Ran and Heiji teases him about how he did it. He also asks Conan if he already got an answer from her, which he negates and says he already knows. Conan says that Heiji should also confess, but the latter is quick to say he will do it and that Conan should focus on getting an answer from Ran instead. In the end, they also go to the cinema.
