Bungo Stray Dogs Official Binran Japanese Handbook’ (c)2016 朝霧カフカ・春河35/KADOKAWA/文豪ストレイドッグス製作委員会
KADOKAWA will publish the Bungo Stray Dogs Official Binran Handbook on December 21. It’s based on the TV anime Bungo Stray Dogs, written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Kasuga. With this handbook, you can learn more about the Bungo (literary legends).
‘Bungo Stray Dogs Official Binran Japanese Handbook’ features information of twenty Bungo, such as Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Chuya Nakahara, Michizou Tachihara, and Sakunosuke Oda. The Q&A section is filled with trivia, like ‘Why is the Beast Beneath the Moonlight a “tiger”?’ and ‘Was Naomi actually his step-sister?’. The handbook tells you about the plots of the masterpiece novels, which are the basis for their super natural abilities (inouryoku), as well as a brief biography on each Bungo.
The handbook comes with a hanging scroll-style bound-in poster and a large portrait card. The first edition includes a special bonus, Kunikida’s ‘Ideal’ notebook style mini-notebook, with which you can organize monthly schedules and to-do Lists.
