At this year’s Kyoto International Manga Museum, Kyomaf’s second venue, the comedy manga centered around a candy shop, “Dagashi Kashi” will be hosting an exhibition.
In the Manga Museum Gallery, there will be a manga stage set up with the candy store as a picture corner where you can take pictures with the original backdrop.

After careful selection, the manga “Dagashi Kashi” serialized in the Weekly Shounen Sunday since 2014 received 70 points for its episode original replication exhibition.
“Hotaru Shidare” paper cover original duplicate exhibition. The popular character “Hotaru Shidare”’s color paper cover original duplicate received 10 points.
Commemorative Picture Corner.
At the replicated “Dagashi Kashi” manga gallery set up, will be reproduced “Cicada Candy”.
Commemorative pictures with the main characters “Kokonotsu Shikada” and “Hotaru Shidare” possible.
It first serialized in Weekly Shounen Sunday in 2014. It’s a popular candy comedy manga that has a total of over 2 million copies.
A father that wants to pass down the village candy shop and a son that doesn’t want to inherit it.
In the shop appears Hotaru Shidare, a candy shop maniac from the city. In order to inherit the candy store from Kokonotsu, she frequently visits the candy store!?
