The currently airing anime Kuzu no Honkai (Scum’s Wish) will get its own shop at Ikebukuro JR Station for one week, from Friday 17 March to Thursday 23 March 2017. The shop will sell unique merchandise with original illustrations of the anime, like clear files and phone cases, headphone cord reels, and badges. Look at the samples below to get an idea of the products.
Also, there will be a special campaign in Ikebukuro for 6 days (14-19 March) to celebrate the release of 96Neko’s 1st single Uso no Hibana. The opening theme to Kuzu no Honkai goes on sale on 15 March. Cardboard cut-outs of Kuzu no Honkai are already placed in 9 places in total, including Tower Records Ikebukuro and Animate Ikebukuro, that have been dubbed ‘Ikebu 96.’ You can also enjoy food at the Nico Café (by NicoNico) and get a 96Neko present, which can only be received there! There will also be a special 96Neko collaboration café opening at the Nico Café.
We know that many of our readers are from overseas and will have the chance to go to this kind of events, but if you happen to be in Japan around that time, go and check it out! MANGA.TOKYO will try and bring you reports from as many otaku-themed cafes as possible!
