The TV anime adaptation of Amyuu’s manga Kono Oto Tomare! has announced that Yoshimasa Hosoya will voice Tetsuki Takaoka and Shouta Aoi will voice Mio Kanzaki.
Takaoka is a childhood friend of main character Chika (VA: Yuuma Uchida) and a student of Tokise High School. Mio Kanzaki is a member of Hakuto High School’s koto club. It has also been announced that the cast members will be guests at an event at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on 23 December 2018 for Jump Festa 2019. Hosoya and Aoi will be joining Junya Enoki (voice of Takezo Kurata) and Atsumi Tanezaki (voice of Satowa Hozuki) at the event.
Kono Oto Tomare! is a youthful story about a koto club in high school, which is on the verge of being abolished. The students of the club try to rebuild the club and aim to participate at the Japan nationals. The story is based on a manga which will release its 19th volume on 4 December 2019.
