In Kino’s Journey, Kino and the motorcycle Hermes travel around with the rule to not stay longer than 3 days in one country. It is based on a novel by Keiichi Sigsawa. The first part of the planned event will be the distribution of a booklet titled Kino Walker, made to parody a popular series of travel magazines called ‘[area name] Walker’. It will include an introduction to the countries that Kino and Hermes visit, as well as to the food. A short story written by Keiichi Sigsawa will also be in the booklet. The cover is an illustration by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. A preview of the manga by Gou will also be included in the booklet. It will be distributed at the Kadokawa booth (No. 1311) and the NBC Universal booth (No. 4131). The second and third part of the event plan will be announced on 4 August and 10 August, respectively.
