The monthly magazine Hero’s, which publishes stories about all kinds of heroes, announced on its April issue that one of its stories is going to get an anime adaptation. Killing Bites is about human-animal hybrid creatures and their fights. The 7th volume of the manga that scheduled to be released on 4 March 2017 will include the new series of Shinya Murata called Himenospia.
Killing Bites is a story that shows the clashes between monsters that have the mind of a human and the power of a beast, resulting in breathtaking manga battles. Oneday, Nomot meets the mysterious Hitomi, who he has to take with him against her will, employed by some people who enjoy and bet on fights between hybrid creatures like Hitomi. They call the fights ‘Killing Bites’. Hitomi has the power of a honey badger. The rest of the hybrids have the power of every animal you could imagine, from lions to gorillas!
The manga release will have some bonuses for those who buy it at one of the partnering stores. Those who buy it at Gamers will receive an original bromide; at Sanyodo stores the purchase of the manga includes a postcard; Toranoana includes an illustrated card; Melon Books will present a re-usable book cover.
The new manga from Shinya Murata will be about a girl who is oppressed and treated like a slave at school, and has to deal with the violence of her single-mother at home. Himeno Endo one day gets stung by an insect and her fate changes. Where in Killing Bites ‘animals’ were the main topic, the keyword for Himenospia seems to be ‘insect’. We wonder what kind of manga it will turn out to be!
