Kensho Ono will appear as a guest voice actor in the Pretty Cure ensemble film, Movie PreCure Superstars!. He will play the mysterious boy Clover. We’ve got hold of Kensho Ono’s comment on his new role.
Kensho Ono has been involved in popular works and played the main character Harry in the Harry Potter movie series for 10 years and also the main character Kuroko in anime Kuroko’s Basketball. He also plays on stages, is an actor, and is active as a singer.
This is the first time for Ono to be cast in a PreCure series. He will play the role of Clover as a guest voice actor in the newest movie. PreCure approached its 15th anniversary this year. At a young age, Hana Nono got lost and met Clover in a strange world. Clover promised that he would take Hana to various worlds. The story develops into a big incident.
Ono left a happy comment: ‘It feels like a dream to be able to appear in a sequel series of Futari wa Pretty Cure, which I watched with my younger sister. I was surprised. I would like to brag about it to my sister.’ About Clover, he mentions: ‘The role I am playing is Clover. He seems to be fleeting around and somehow can’t bring up his courage, but I want the viewers] to see him and have gentle feelings.’
Furthermore, he said with a smiling face: ‘PreCure is full of dreams and hopes it was a work for children. I was relieved when I read in the script that ‘the kids are supposed to cheer on PreCure with their ‘Miracle Light’. In the end, he stated: ‘I will do my best in order to create a movie which will make the audience’s heart beat faster and get them all excited!!’
