An anime adaptation has been announced for the manga Kakushigoto by Koji Kumeta (Sayonara, Zetsubo-sensei)
The manga is currently running in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, and depicts the daily life of a man named Kakushi Goto and his daughter, Hime. Kakushi is a manga artist, and as can be fathomed by the fact that ‘Kakushishigoto’ means ‘secret work’ in English, he hides his true occupation from his daughter. The anime was announced on the belly band of the 10th volume of the manga and is slated to air in 2020. More details will be revealed in the January issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which will go on sale on 6 December 2019.
