The upcoming live action movie Inuyashiki has revealed its first trailer!
In the first half of the video, we see Noritake Kinashi who was made to look older with makeup to fit the sad old salaryman he is playing. In the second half, we can see the accident Inuyashiki is involved in and the hostility coming from Shishigami (played by Takeru Sato). At the end, Inuyashiki is flying through the sky above Shinjuku with a body that looks like a jet engine.
A special trailer will also air later tonight (21 December) after the final episode of the anime. The trailer will be a little bit different to the one below.
The original manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Evening and is a sci-fi story about a salaryman called Inuyashiki and a handsome high school student called Shishigami. The story starts when the two of them get amazing powers. The movie is directed by Shinsuke Sato, who also worked on Gantz and Death Note Light Up the New World. It will come into Japanese cinemas on 20 April 2018.
