iMarine Project is inspired by a variety of creators who are challenging new possibilities using Marin-chan from the pachinko game Sanyo Umi Monogatari as a main character. So far, there have been three music videos released by the iMarine Project, with each of them surpassing 2 million views. The views of all their videos combined are more than 28 million from all over the world.
As it was hinted during Niconico Chou Kaigi 2017 this year in April, iMarine Project released the first part of the anime music video Deep Blue Song called Deep Blue Town e Oide yo on 17 July 2017, the date of the Japanese national holiday ‘Marine Day’!
The video is set in a town called Deep Blue Town, where creatures of the ocean are living together with humans. The heroine and her friends are involved in a story which is told through the animation and the music video, mixed together in one video. It is a fun way to watch a story unfold! The song begins at the 3:38 mark.
The song was released on 18 July 2017 on iTunes Japan and RecoChoku and other pages are also scheduled to follow. At the end of August, the second part of the story will be released. After the great first part, we can only look forward to the second!
