The new surfing-themed mixed-media project WAVE!! will release an anime and a game. It has also been revealed that the Nippon Surfing Association (NSA) is producing a collaboration surfing support song.

WAVE!! is a project that combines ikemen and surfing and was launched in October 2018. It is about eight young men whose lives only revolve around surfing.

The news was announced during the hall event ‘WAVE!! 1st EVENT～Wonderful Party~’ which took place in Chiba on 17 August 2019. The cast members Tomoaki Maeno, Jin Ogasawara, Yoshiki Nakajima, Takuya Sato, Yusuke Shirai and Shunichi Toki were present during ‘WAVE!! 1st EVENT～Wonderful Party~’,
