The TV anime Hinomaru Zumo revealed its OP/ED artists. In charge of the anime’s opening theme is Official Hige DANdism. The group Omedetai Atama de NANIYORI will perform the ending song. The series will air its first episode on 5 October 2018.
Hinomaru Zumo is a youthful fighting story about men who want to become big in the world of high school sumo wrestling. The series is written by Kawada and serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Sumo is a world where heavy and big people normally dominate the ranks, so our hero Hinomaru Ushio, who has a small body and is nicknamed ‘National Treasure Onimaru Kunitsuna’, is a rare exception but he still fights fiercely together with his colleagues of the sumo wrestling club with the aim of becoming Yokozuna (NB: the highest rank for a sumo wrestler).
Official Hige DANdism, also known as ‘Higedan’, is a new talented group that operates as ‘Sanin Hatsu Piano Pop Band’. They want to create a new era of J-Pop with black music as its roots.
Omedetai Atama de NANIYORI (Omedeta for short) ‘Japan’s best happy feelings loud rock band’ performs with the concept of ‘being happy, happily making noises and having endless celebration’. It continues to create ‘serious heat capacity’ together with their fans.
TV anime Hinomaru Zumo will start to air at TOKYO MX, AbemaTV, BS11, Sun TV, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting on 5 August 2018.
To start airing at 22:00 on 5 October 2018.
