Hi Score Girl (or ‘High Score Girl’) revealed a new key visual that sticks to the overall nostalgic feeling of the series. It will probably resonate with older fans since there are old school arcade games raining from the sky in the background while our three main characters stand at the forefront.

Hi Score Girl is a series set in 1991 when the game boom arrives in Japan and 2D games were all the rage. Anybody would go to the games arcade. Haruo is one of those people and is thrown into a ‘90s arcade romantic comedy’ when he sees her sitting there, playing a game in her dignified pose.
