It has been decided that Yoshiyasu’s Kuroneko Monroe is getting an anime adaptation!
The manga depicts the everyday life of an illustrator called Yoppy who lives in Tokyo together with her male black cat Monroe. The manga essay is being published under Gentosha.
Emi Nitta was cast to give her voice to Monroe in the anime. There will be 26 episodes of 60 seconds each, which will start airing in April during the program ‘Nyanda? Full Channel’ on Chukyo TV. The series is currently looking for someone to voice the cat Zunguri, who doesn’t let itself get bothered by details. Applications can be submitted through the Karaoke DAM Service ‘DAM★Tomo Douga/Rokuon’. Entries can be sent in from 19 February – 5 March 2018, 23:59 (JST).
