Winter 2020 Anime: Official Info, Airdates & Trailers
Keep warm this winter season with the latest anime info at MANGA.TOKYO!
On 11-12 May 2019, geeks will gather for the third time in Austria’s Klagenfurt am Wörthersee to visit Harucon!
One of the many highlights of the roughly 6,000m² hall are the many shops, stalls, and booths that create a sprawling market made for any nerd. New items, rarities, and specialities can be found here. Aside from shopping for new manga, drawing utensils and goods, there is also a colorful interactive program waiting for any fan who is ready to participate.
There is so much going on at the convention that we can hardly put it all into this one article, but you can check it out on their official website! You just need to know that in addition to the usual affairs, such as a cosplay contest and quiz, you can also enjoy lots of different games (both video games and tabletop games) and there is also a large variety of workshops! At the workshops you can learn about making cosplay, and you can try your hand at making Japanese dessert.
One of the first things that we noticed was that you can find a con-buddy in case you came alone or if your friends want to go somewhere else for a while. With that new buddy you could go and play one of the many tournaments like Mario Kart, or watch the anime quiz before learning how to make cosplay armor. If cosplay is not your cup of tea, you can also check out the photography workshop for beginners, how to sew your own plushies, or how to sing on YouTube. There really is something offered for everyone. Though we do fear that all of those workshops are in German, so maybe bring a friend who can do real-time translations!
Of course, there will also be guests: Cosplayers can look forward to see Frekya, Max homemade Cosplay, and the duo Dwarfheart-Cosplay. If at some point you feel overwhelmed by all the things the convention has to offer, feel free to take a break at the Maid Café!
If you are close by and have the chance, check out Harucon in Carinthia, Austria. Tickets are still available on their official website or at the venue!
