Hajime Kamoshida and Kiseki Himura have announced their new original high school anime Just Because! They have already opened its official website and Twitter page, and released the first teaser video!

The website was opened on 30 May 2017 and in the teaser features the phrase ‘The way you looked at that guy that you liked was so beautiful…’ Check out the video below!

The story revolves around a group of students who are in their final year of high school with only a few months left before graduation. Things start to change with the return of a friend who moved far away when they were in middle school. His return awakens hidden thoughts in those who were trying to ‘just somehow’ graduate and causes ripples among them.

The script will be written by Hajime Kamoshida (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Seishun Buta Yatou Series) and the original character design is by Kiseki Himura (Getsuyobi no Tawawa). The director is Atsushi Kobayashi, who also was in charge of the storyboards and worked as an episode director in Girls und Panzer. The character designs are done by Hiroyuki Yoshii, the music producer is Nagi Yanagi and the animation producer is PINE JAM (Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii Desukara).
