The upcoming Bungo Stray Dogs movie Dead Apple has revealed its theme songs! Rock band Granrodeo, who provided the opening theme ‘Trash Candy’ for the first season of the series, will provide the opening theme of the movie. Luck Life, who provided the ending theme ‘Namae wo Yobuyo’ for the first season and ‘Kaze ga Fuku Machi’ for the second season, will come back to provide the ending of the movie.
The movie will be released in Japanese cinemas at the beginning of Spring 2018.
An imaginary city named Yokohama. Atsushi Nakajima, a young man that was driven out of the orphanage and wanders the streets homeless, meets Dazai Osamu, who has suicidal tendencies. For some reason, Atsushi is helping kill a tiger that eats humans, which makes his own ability awake. Dazai then urges Atsushi to join their Armed Detective Agency, who solve some cases the military or police can’t solve. But some people are after Atsushi, as there is a big prize money on his head. They are called Port Mafia, a underground organization located at the harbor. One of the members, Ryunosuke Akutagawa is keeping a close eye on Atsushi, filled with hatred. And there is also Nakahara Chuya, former partner of Daizai known as ‘Soukoku’, who keeps irritating him. Both organizations are burning with fire in their conflict.

The first season of the new year is just one month away from its finale. It was a great start with many amazing titles that made these past months worth the extra hours we put in front of our sets. Now, it is time for the cold wind to give way to the pink hues of the sakura tree and for the Winter 2018 season to give the anime baton to Spring 2018.
