Hijikata and the others make a stop in Yubari to look for a clue to distinguish the counterfeit and real tattooed skins at Yasaku Edogai’s workshop.

Then suddenly a molotov cocktail gets thrown, and flames break out inside the building. It seems that Tsurumi’s 7th Division soldiers came to destroy the evidence. They surround the house and set an attack.

Hijikata and Ogata fight back but get steadily forced into a corner which allows the enemy to charge inside.
While the 7th Division soldiers are preparing to make their offense Nikaido attacks Hijikata and one of the soldiers attacks Ogata!
