The third and final movie of the Godzilla trilogy, Godzilla: Hoshi wo Kuu Mono (lit. Godzilla: Planet Eater) revealed a new trailer with a sneak and peek to how the ultimate living being Godzilla Earth and its greatest enemy,, the high-dimensional monster Ghidorah meet. ‘live and die’ is the theme song sung by XAI. The movie is slated to open on 9 November 2018.
This is the third in a trilogy of movies, the first CG animated movies in the history of Godzilla. They depict the fight of humanity against Godzilla on Earth after 20,000 years. In this final chapter the ultimate Godzilla became the only ruler on Earth after burning down the armed fortress city ‘Mechagodzilla City’. Godzilla Earth has destroyed everything so far, but its strong attacks have no chance to win over the three-headed Gidorah. As Gidorah is so strong, the survivors are afraid that it would not only destroy Godzilla but also their planet.
Metophies, the archbishop of the human-like race Exif, is about to operate his ‘True purpose’. Main character Haruo confronts Metophies and suffers as he struggles to ask him what he should do as ‘people’. One highlight of this movie is to see what the people see when ‘maximum’ and ‘maximum’ collide on Earth in front of their eyes. XAI powerfully sings the theme song that lets viewers feel the appropriate scale of the final chapter and the majestic fear of Gidorah. She also wrote the English lyrics.
To open on 9 November 2018.
