Keep warm this winter season with the latest anime info at MANGA.TOKYO!
Fullmetal Alchemist will open a collaboration cafe in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro from 22 November 2017 until 31 January 2018. The food and drinks offered in the cafe are inspired and modelled after the characters of the series. You can enjoy ‘Ed’s Pineapple Soda’, which is decorated with the Flamel, or ‘Winry’s Drink’, which is decorated with the tools she uses. Roy’s drink is called ‘It doesn’t work in the rain’ and is red as a flame with candy cotton on top of it that melts when you pour the blue syrup over it, which symbolizes the rain.
As for the food, you can get ‘Al’s Penne Gratin’, muscular Major Armstrong’s ‘Armstong’s Fried Chicken’ that comes with his mustache, or a dish taken straight out of the series: ‘Selim’s Squid Ink Pasta’. Just seeing the dishes is enjoyable and makes a visit to the cafe a great experience! And those who want the Tim Marcoh plate should come during lunch time, as it will be only served then.
Of course, if you visit the collaboration cafe you will also be rewarded with a coaster for each drink or food you order. For every 1,000 yen you spend there, you will get a stamp. If you collect five stamps, you will receive an extra poster as a present! In addition, every visitor during lunch or dinner will receive a lunch-mat made of paper.
If you want to visit the cafe, you have to make a reservation. Reservations will start on 10 November 2017. If you need help doing so, you can contact us! Pictures of all the dishes, drinks and the rewards are already up at the official website of the collaboration cafe, so head over there and take a look at them!
