On the last day of Japan’s biggest anime event, AnimeJapan 2017 (23 – 26 March 2017) the new Fate projects announced new info and visuals at an event called ‘Fate Project 2017 Special Stage.’
At the event were Nobunaga Shimazaki (Arjuna/Edmond Dantes), Rie Takahashi (Mash Kyrielight/Shielder), Rumi Ookubo (Elizabeth Bathory), and Ayako Kawasumi (Artoria Pendragon). They announced new info on the stage play adaptation Fate/Grand Order (FGO), the collaboration events, Fate/GO and Fate/EXTRA CCC, the subtitle of the movie Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel], and the confirmation of the release date of the movie. Kinoko Nasu worked on the scenario for the Fate/GO and Fate/EXTRA CCC collaboration events.
We also had the chance to see the first ever screening of the second PV for Fate/Apocrypha! They also announced the new cast.
Natsuki Hanae will play Siegfried, and Kouki Uchiyama will play Shirou Kotomine. When Junichi Suwabe took to the stage again with the role of Dark Saber, the crowd erupted with a thunderous applause. It was also announced that Rumi Ookubo would be taking on a Dark Liner role. The recording has not yet begun, but 14 of the Fate Series’s biggest servants will appear.
