An anime adaptation of Renai Boukun by Megane Mitsuboshi will air from Spring 2017. The teaser visual advertisement shows a suspiciously gloating Guri in front of a glowing moon. The animation will be created by EMT Squared, known for Kumamiko and Nyanko Days.
Mitsuboshi commented, ‘The production staff understands this comic and the characters even better than I do, so sometimes I’m the one getting amazed by them. As those people will be giving the manga characters movement, I’m really looking forward to it.’
Renai Boukun is a romantic comedy manga whose main characters are Guri, an angel who possesses an item that can make two random people kiss each other, a high school boy named Seiji, and a high school girl named Akane who is crazily in love with him. The manga is published in COMIC Metro, and Volume 10 was issued on December 12.
