New cast and characters have been revealed for the upcoming anime adaptation of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s manga Dr. Stone.

Dr. Stone is a sci-fi survival manga which takes places thousands of years after all of humanity has been turned into stone statues. The cast and character setting have been revealed for four of the show’s characters. The newly added cast members are Manami Numakura as Kohaku, Gen Sato as Chrome, Tomoaki Maeno as Kinro, and Ayumu Murase as Ginro. Regarding Kohaku

It’s fun drawing Kohaku’s cool expressions and actions. I took care to recreate her silhouette from the manga. In the character settings used at the studio, I drew a variety of her facial expressions. I hope you can expect a lot from her expressions which change very often.

Regarding Chrome

Like Kohaku, it’s fun drawing a variety of expressions for this character. I really can’t wait to see the scenes with him interacting with Senku and the others. His expressions and such are probably the most protagonist-like of all the show’s characters.

Regarding Kinro

I really like cool characters like this, which made him quite easy to draw. His facial expression doesn’t really change much, but I like how he will pull the odd comical expression now and again. His interactions with his brother are also pretty fun to do.

Regarding Ginro

It’s great to have a sleazeball like this. His expressions change the most of any character, so it’s really fun to draw him. I want you to look forward to the rare cool scenes that he has.
