My Hero Academia is going to hold a Screening and Talk event on December 9.
They will screen the last four episodes of the first season (Episode 9-13). Nobuhiko Okamoto (who plays Katsuki Bakugo), Toshiki Masuda (who plays Eijiro Kirishima) and Kengo Monji from Weekly Shonen Jump’s editorial department will make on-stage appearances. Okamoto and Masuda are real fans of Shonen Jump and they both have read the original comic series. For that reason, we can expect an in-depth fun talkshow between them and Monji from Shonen Jump.
The event will take place on December 9 in TOHO CINEMAS Shinjuku and ticket sales will begin from November 25 at 18:00 on Ticket Pia (Until November 27, 23:59). Event tickets will be sold at 2500 yen.
The TV Anime series My Hero Academia was broadcast from April to June, 2016. It tells the dramatic story of the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, who stands up with his friends against the so-called villains who misuse their special abilities. The production for the anime’s second season is currently under way.
