The MANGA.TOKYO staff had its share of summer. Now, all we wish is for the hot and humid weather to go away and give its place to the red and cool autumn.
Are you ready to see only yellow? The Pikachu event Pikachu Dake Janai Pikachu Tairyou Hassei-chu! in Yokohama is getting closer and the sheer size of it might make some mouths drop.
Here we have all the details about what is happening and where! The event will take place in the area of Yokohama’s Nihon-Odori and Minatomirai. The main event period is from 9-15 August, but some of the events will take place outside those dates. You can find details on all the events here:
100 Pikachu, performers, and dancers will show you a big parade along the Nihon-Odori!
Date: 14 August 2017, 16:00-17:00
Venue: Nihon-Odori (From the Elephant Nose Park to Yokohama Park and back)
You can view the parade from both sides of Nihon-Odori, for free!
A 17 m. zeppelin in a Pikachu design will fly over the Minatomirai area! Just keep your eyes open to catch a glimpse of it!

The Boat will sail between the Nippon Maru Memorial Park and the Cup Noodle Museum Park.

To make it possible to play Pokémon GO with other people and in a secure area, there will be a Pokémon GO park.

This event requires advanced registration! It’s all about playing together. If a large number of people apply for this event, participants will be decided through a lottery.
