Dagashi Kashi, the comedy manga by Kotoyama, announced that the series would get a second anime season. It will be titled Dagashi Kashi 2 and is scheduled to air in 2018. The first round of info includes a key visual, the main staff, and a trailer.
The title is being serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday, with the first season of the anime adaptation broadcast in 2016. Furthermore, volume 8 of the manga will be released on 10 August 2017.
Like the first season, the story will be set in a sweet shop and a new character called Hajime Owari will be introduced. She is a 20-year-old woman who somehow happens to work at the Shikada snack shop.
TV Anime Dagashi Kashi Season 2
Scheduled for 2018
Kokonotsu Shikada is supposed to inherit his family business, a sweets shop, where he currently helps out and where he also meets the snack-freak and mysterious girl Hotaru Shidare. She often comes to the Shikada store to talk Kokonotsu into succeeding the store. Spending time with Hotaru, Kokonotsu is moving forward on the way of becoming the store manager…or not, but anyway, he is enjoying his summer with his friends Saya and To. An enjoyable and nostalgic comedy with plenty of snacks involved. We recommend to watch it only on a full stomach!
