Crunchyroll has recently announced that a novel convention experience called ‘New Crunchy City’ will be part of Crunchyroll Expo 2019. The convention will resemble a living and breathing city with guides to help you navigate through the convention.
Crunchyroll Expo 2019 will open its doors at San Jose Convention Center during the weekend from 30 August to 1 September 2019. The convention has revealed that horror manga author Junji Ito (Junji Ito Masterpiece Collection) will be one of their guests. Please see Crunchyroll Expo’s official website for further details.
Crunchyroll has also announced details about the partnership with the Quidd application. Quidd is the largest social market place for digital stickers, GIFs, trading cards, and 3D digital toys. Crunchyroll has already released Hime-chan, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, and Darling in the Franxx collections. There are also plans for future releases of Mob Psycho 100, Black Clover, Re:ZERO, The Ancient Magus’ Bride, Haikyu!!, Bananya and many more.
