Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection has released its second round of cast members, a key visual, a new trailer, and more info on the theme songs. The upcoming movie will open on 9 February 2019. The additional cast members are Keiko Toda as Shamuna, Akio Otsuka as Forgner, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Kuja Pat.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection is a new story related to the TV anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion which started in 2006 and ran for two seasons. A trilogy of recap movies also recently aired in Japanese cinemas between October 2017 and May 2018. The movie will tell the story of what happened after the recap movies, which were slightly different to the TV series.

Furthermore, the Japanese singer-songwriter Leo Ieiri is in charge of the opening song ‘Kono Sekai de’ (lit. In this World). The five friends and members of UNIONE, Issy, Yuuki, Jin, Sam, and Yuta, are performing the movie’s ending song with the title ‘Revive’. Last but not least, it was announced that ‘Utsukushiki Kemonotachi no Tame no’ (lit. For the Beautiful Beasts), ALI PROJECT’s song, is an insert song.
