The upcoming tokusatsu movie Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Chou Super Hero Taisen will be released in a month on 25 March 2017. This movie is a collaboration between the Kamen Rider series and the Super Sentai series and it will feature a total of 100 heroes. Recently, the movie has announced that the cast will include some popular characters from the two franchises.
The four new cast members are Atsushi Maruyama who played Utsusemimaru (Kyouryuu Gold) in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger in 2013, Ryouhei Odai who played Shuuichi Kitaoka (Kamen Rider Zolda) in Kamen Rider Ryuki in 2002, Hiroya Matsumoto who played Masato Jin (Beat Buster) in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters from 2012 to 2013, and Gaku Matsumoto who played Yakumo Cloud Kato (Ao Ninger) in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger which aired until 2016.
Both Shuuichi Kitaoka (played by Odai) and Masato Jin (played by Matsumoto) surprised the viewers with shocking scenes where they either died or disappeared. It has been 14 years since the TV series Kamen Rider Ryuki finished airing in January 2003. Fans are excited to see him again on the screen!
The picture above features five of the heroes: Hiroki Iijima (Emu Houjou), Momotarosu from Kamen Rider Den-O, Ryouhei Odai, Hiroya Matsumoto, and Gaku Matsumoto. It seems like these five characters are going to fight together as ‘Team Ex-Aid’ in the movie. Although the trailer revealed the image of the transformed characters, their human forms had not been revealed yet.
