Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibou), the anime that will teach us about our inner body workings, released a second visual and a new trailer, which shows a lot clearer how this anime is going to be and how much fun we can expect from it. Sadly, the video is region-locked to Japan only, but we do have a few preview stills and can tell you what happens in the video.
The video starts by showing us the human body and zooms into the world that all the endless cells live in. They are ‘working full of energy today as well’. We are then introduced to the main characters who are saying one line each, until we focus on Erythrocyte (Red Blood Cell), who seems to be a new worker and is promptly involved in an attack by a Streptococcus Pneumoniae, who boldly declares that ‘this is our country now!’. There definitely will be a lot of action when they fight this intruder! If you happen to be in Japan, you can take a look at the trailer!
The anime will start airing on 8 July 2018.
Furthermore, two additional cast members have been revealed. Shoya Chiba will join the cast as B Cell and Mamiko Noto will be doing the narration.
