On 26 April, the Summer 2018 anime Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibou) has announced four new cast members for the anime! Roughly three months ago, the series introduced the members of the main cast. This time, the four new cast members include Takahiro Sakurai, Saori Hayami, Nobuhiko Okamoto and M・A・O. Takahiro Sakurai as T Cell Helper

‘Isn’t it interesting to see what is going on in your body and what your cells are doing? In some way, this might be the ultimate anthropomorphization. I will learn a lot and have fun while working hard!’

Saori Hayami as Regulatory T Cell

‘I am very pleased to be able to enter the dazzling world of Cells at Work as the Regulatory T Cell. I am looking forward to seeing how the feeling of the manga will be transmitted to the anime and to a good tempo during the recordings!

Nobuhiko Okamoto as Dendritic Cell

‘I wondered what the Dendritic Cell was and as a result of my research, I found out that it is something like a control tower of the immune cells. It is a very important cell yet its face is so cute, so I think there will be a gap between the character and the looks of my role. We will start recording soon and I will work hard!’

M・A・O as Eosinophil Granulocyte

‘I was chosen for the role of Eosinophil. My name is M・A・O! I read the manga and thought it was a really interesting work so the fact that I get to participate in the anime makes me very happy! I will learn a lot about the structure of the body and the things and events happening within it while battling bacteria and viruses!’
