It’s been 10 years since Yasuhisa Kubo’s comedy manga Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san, started serialization, and the fans can look forward to the event ’10th Year Since Serialization Project!’
The manga has sold more than 3 million volumes. It is serialized in Kodansha’s Evening and it spawned two anime seasons in 2011 and 2013. The story follows Azazel, a devil that enjoys sexually harassing others and makes jokes that are the lowest of the low.
On 7 October 2017, part of the voice acting cast, such as Masaya Onosaka, the voice of Azazel, will be at the event at Nissho Hall, Tokyo. Tickets for the event can be bought by entering a serial number that is enclosed in the Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san Blu-ray box set, to be released on 26 July 2017. Tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Further information on who will be at the event is expected soon!
The Blu-ray box set will also include a new video featuring Masaya Onosaka. The new video is called ‘Odekake desuyo, Azazel-san. 10-shuu Nen Kinen.’ He will go and meet the god of the toilet and tell us a lot about the series. In the box there will be a special CD including various songs from the series and the remastered episodes of the first and second season!
Other parts of the ‘10th Anniversary Project’ include a vote on the most popular character, congratulatory messages from the cast in Evening and more! Don’t miss anything and follow their official 10th anniversary Twitter account @azazel_project (Japanese only).
