As we reported before, Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs have a special collaboration called Bungo Stray Dogs Sou Tantei-sha Hanbai-bu Marui Shuuchojo (Bungo Stray Dogs Detective Company Sales Department, Marui Branch Office), which will be held from 21 March – 3 April 2017 at Kokubunji Marui in Tokyo.
The event offers special character goods and merchandise, some including exclusive drawings! There is also a plan to feature Osamu Dazai, since many places near the venue are connected to him. At the Mitaka Osamu Dazai Literature Salon, visitors will find an exhibition with pictures from the anime, copies of the original manga manuscript, and other drawings, as well as a collaboration with the eel restaurant that Dazai is said to have frequented.
The Marui Branch Office will also rent some Dazai related items from the Literature Salon to display and in return the Literature Salon will exhibit illustrations by the Bungou Stay Dogs manga illustrator Sango Harukawa. As for the eel restaurant, those who order something from the menu and show the ‘order card’ they got at the exhibition, will receive an A3 mini-poster as a present. Per day only 20 ‘order cards’ will be distributed. For more details, check the official Marui homepage. (Japanese only)
