A special Boku no Hero Academia event was held at at Yurakcho Yomiuri Hall on September 4th, “Boku no Hero Academia Class 1-A Open School at UA High Hero Department”.
Daiki Yamashita of Midoriya Izuku and other 7 casts are gathered making audiences excited.
Nine cast members appeared on stage during the day event: Daiki Yamashita, Midoriya Izuku, Kenta Miyake, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Ayane Sakura, Kaito Ishikawa, Hiroki Kaji, Aoi Yuuki, and Junichi Suwabe. The audience went crazy when each cast member shouted a character line along with a scene from the anime playing in the screen behind them.
The first part of the event was a “Complete Review of the First Season”. It included a recap with a few selected scenes by the staff, and a review talk. Daiki Yamashita said that one of his favorites is the scene where All Might says to Izuku that he can become a hero, “I actually cried seeing Izuku collapsing on the ground from crying”. He revealed that he took many takes for that scene. The second part had a game called “Team Competition! Practical Training!” and a surprise birthday cake given to Yamashita and Kaji whose birthday was close. The third and last part of the event, was a reading of “Hero wa Tsuraiyo”. The event was filled with laughter as they read the story.
They also revealed the PV for the anime screening event “Jump Special Anime Festa 2016” which will be held in November and December. The story will probably fill the gap between the first and the second season.
Yamashita said that “it’s been a while since the last time these members were gathered, so I’m very happy. We will do our best in the second season as well so keep cheering for us!”
At the end of the event, everybody screamed AU High’s motto “Plus Ultra”. The venue was engulfed in an amazing feeling of unity.
