Bofuri – or Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu if you prefer the long version of the title – has a Christmas present for fans in the form of some new information about the upcoming series! Along with a beautiful key visual, we also have a new trailer that lets us dive into the world of ‘New World Online’ together with protagonist Maple. The opening theme ‘Kyuukoku Unbalance’ by Afilia Saga can be heard playing in the background. We also now know that the ending theme will be ‘Play the world’ by Riko Sasaki.

Introduction

An exceptional newcomer has arrived in the VRMMO game ‘NewWorld Online’!?
The player can take any attack and kills any monster or player with the poison skill. Hidden behind this player, who is often called ‘Walking Fortress’ or ‘Last Boss’ because of their abnormal fighting style, is just a pretty girl and beginner to the game. Her name is Maple and she recently started the game because of her friend Sally. She doesn’t know much about games and spent all of her status points on defense and was about to be wiped out by the weakest monster.
However, it…doesn’t…hurt?
Even when attacked she takes zero damage and with a bit of luck, she receives a special skill to land a one-hit kill. As she gains friends that are unique in their own ways, Maple also grows. Let the no-damage-adventure begin!
